Does that extend to municipal entities such as a police department? VQuakr (talk) 02:02, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A small town like Lake Mary will be a creature of statute, that is a creature of state law, and unless there is some evidence otherwise it should be assumed they follow the same law as the state. I looked into the town website, and there is nothing there about copyright. There are other muni images using PD-FLGov on Commons. -- Green Cardamom (talk) 02:31, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: Kept as PD-shape. Note the image is tagged as Keep Local, so I am not deleting as F8. Diannaa (talk) 20:13, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You are right about tag change. It is silly to have a tag saying "This file has been listed on Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files" while the file is already tagged as certainly unfree. So, I contested the change with a revert.
Also, you are right about your TOO judgment. I agreed below. I think the person who moved this file to Commons also agrees. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 23:36, 23 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Image: Looks like entirely letters: A big stylized W and a wordmark. The W is colorized with plain colors. Calligraphy is no eligible for copyright protection.
Code: The SVG code seems entirely machine-generated. While the program that generated the code is eligible for copyright-protection, the code itself is not. If it had a human-written portion, it would have been the property of the coder. Text needs no fonts.
Recommendation: Retain local copy until the Commons discussion ends; then move to Commons.
Best regards,
