| okay episode, I liked it better than the last two. Damn, he didn't shoot Coby, but I'm glad that he's not apart of the crew. I like Zorro, nice to have an original bad ass on the crew. IMO the music was cheesy, but nostalgic. Yay, no more Coby! I'm trying to watch every episode in order, hopefully they get better, I'm looking forward to more Zorro and Luffy. |

| Hmm it does seem like this episode is the one where the story begins to pick off. The last 3 minutes, with the scenes in the harbour and on the boat + the music playing in the background was wonderful, it really feels like the start of a big adventure. I think I'll have to watch a few more now, tis a very good episode. 4/5 |

| Mostly straightforward, though I do like how strongly the divide between pirates and marines is portrayed. I like all of the scenes of the orange haired girl in these episodes. |
| Oh the anime is fun even though it's so old, I actually expected less and it didn't disappoint. I was planning on skipping most of the episodes but I think I'll just watch all of them. |

Zorro finally decide to become a Nakama (friend) of Luffy to start this journey to be the PK and the best Swordman, we get some explain of the devil fruit of Luffy the Gomu Gomu no Mi, a Rubber man. and by the end of the episode Luffy part ways with Coby in an emotional moment in which Luffy sacrifice his hero status for a villain one in order to help Coby enlist the marines. Next Episode: More of the "Mysterious Young Lady" and his name for a change? |

| I'm never a fan of making antagonist's 1D and overly gross, but I really enjoy the cast and the world so far. I'm getting vibes this may be like Dragon Ball, except much more focused and if that is the case that's awesome. Dragon Ball's biggest flaw was its lack of direction. Not to forget, Luffy is so reminiscent of Goku it's not even funny, only difference is he seems happy ALL the time instead of most of the time, and he is more driven by a goal than Goku. But enough comparisons, I love Zoro, his introduction was great. Husbando tier already. You can tell Zoro respects Luffy's philosophy towards life, and I'm sure he can relate to living a life for a promise made in the past. Also it's good sign that the anime is already pursuing moral ambiguity with a major theme of this episode being not all navy soldiers are good, not all pirates are bad, and the end them coming together to accept each other and their place in the world. The moment where Luffy was beating the dudes face in without realizing butt chin took Coby hostage was hilarious and again was Goku-esque. And the conversation between Zoro and Luffy about how many crew mates he has, and where his pirate ship was made me laugh really hard as well. Lastly, I want to do an episode 3 prediction: The one piece will be nothing, as the real treasure was the friends and the journey you had on the way, that's the real treasure of a pirate! |
| The villagers might not have realised, but the Marines actually were being kind to Luffy and Zoro, they let them go after all even though they were pirates. Bye bye Coby, I'm sure we'll meet again in the future! |

| It just took barely half an episode for them to overwhelm Morgan and his crew and Zoro became awfully chummy with Luffy once he saw his overwhelming power~ Wielding his three swords like that was awesome! It's daring to go for the biggest goal without having anything with you in the first place but it has managed to work for Luffy with Zoro so there's no reason to back down. He even helped Coby realize his dream but those Marines were just putting on a tough face for the law so seeing them salute the two as they go makes me feel relieved that he's in good hands. Loli Rika will be missed too. I wonder where they'll get the Going Merry though~ |

| Good episode. I love Zoro's three swords, so awesome in the manga as well. I might be biased because I very much like swords. |

| Devil fruit, cool. Zoro is awesome. I'm glad he'll stick around. Good for Colby! *me knowing full well there are over 900 episodes and yet theorizing what the One Piece is* ugh. |
