| Damn, they put pressure on Class A to deal with an organization again. Tbh, the parts I liked most about this episode is the team chemistry. Between the snipers duo and team spirit, everyone seems to offer something for each other. |

| Nah I had to turn away from the screen when Shiori's dad started beating the mother. I can not fucking stand to see any form of DV. Absolutely justified to kill that pos. I don't see how she got prison time considering it was to stop him from comitting murder and the history of abuse would almost certainly get you out of prison time. But anime logic I guess. Hard to believe someone as sweet as Shiori had such a tragic story as that. Guess it wouldn't be a Grisaia backstory without it though. I wanna be proud of her for continuing to fight thru adversity and accepting the full time gig as a teacher at Mihama, but it’s a little crazy that she still thinks it was the mom that killed the dad. Feel like she won’t truly be at peace and grow until she comes to terms with that. I’ve enjoyed these last 4 backstory episodes though. Full metal maid eh, they’re taking no chances with Taiga lmao. Something tells me Shiori is probably gonna end up regretting going along with the class on their overseas mission 😂 another good episode. |

| This one episode encapsulating Volume 5.5 about Shiori Arisaki, it's a brutal massacre. Shiori being the new teacher to Mihama Academy and taking care of the Phantom Trigger girls alongside Haruto, while getting acclimated to her new setting, it's a doozy to just even see the girls being devoid of emotion and able to execute their practice, taking it as if it's their regular mission. Even with her around, Haruto and the girls helping Taiga to get better with improving skills, it just doesn't seem like something that she would connect with, until her trauma of almost being fatally killed from her abusive father and her mother saving her (but that her perception amnesia proving otherwise that she did the first blow towards her father) which only brought on bad memories wherever she goes, and as far as she could go, Mihama Academy would be the only place to accept her regardless of her background. Whether is it doing the personal interviews for the girls, or squealing at the severity of the danger from their missions, Shiori has a lot to learn. |
